今日は「公民館まつり」のレポートです。
いつもお世話になっている公民館で行われる、毎年恒例の一大イベント。
手芸や絵画、写真などの芸術品が並ぶ中、うちのサークルは総勢１０名で折り紙作品を持ち寄りました。
Today I'll report about special exhibition at a festival in a local public hall, that I hold my origami class.
There're a lot fo handcrafts, paintings, photographs, and we brought origami with ten members.
例年の倍くらいブースを広くしていただいたのですが、それでも並べ始めるとスキマが全然ありません。
サークル始まって以来の大所帯となり、たいへん賑やかな展示となりました。
The exhibition space was twice as wide as last year, but it was full of works!
It was so lively space since my class started.
一人一人インタビューでもしながら作品への愛を語ってほしいものですが、小説が書けてしまいそうなので割愛いたします。
とはいえ、勿体ぶっても仕方ない。一気に放出しちゃいましょう！
全体の雰囲気や色づかい、細部の作り込みや素材へのこだわり。

Although I wanted to introduce while interviewing each member with a passion, unfortunately I'll skip due to the time.

壁一面に広がるのは、季節感あふれるＴさんの作品。
当ブログの読者さんならご存知かと思いますが、右半身に麻痺があるＴさんは全ての作品を左手だけで作っています。
Seasonal works that fill the wall, these were made by T-san.
You might know he has a hemiplegia, he has been making all works with only left hand.
親王飾りの出来栄えも、ベテランの領域です。
These are dolls commemorating the girl's day, he's already an expert.
この「胡蝶蘭」は月刊おりがみ569号の作品。
黒背景に佇む花々が、語りかけてくるようです。
This is Phalaenopsis orchid, listed in Monthly ORIGAMI magazine No.569.
Flowers stands in the black background seem to whispering to us.
これまた多くの作品を飾ってくれたＮさん。
かわいい絵画のような、春夏秋冬それぞれの作品です。
N-san also brought a lot of works.
Four seasons are described on each frame, it's like a painting.
川崎ローズのリースと、３つのくす玉も会場を彩ります。
Wreath with Kawasaki roses and three unit balls are also decorating the space.
初参加の女の子とお母様。
椿や藤の花をモチーフにした、色とりどりのユニット作品です。
A girl and her mom are newcomers.
Colorful unit models with camellia and wisteria flowers motifs.
こちらも初参加の方が作った「連鶴」。
展示の直前まで仕上げにこだわっていました。
赤色と金色が、白いクロスとよく合います。
This is "Connected cranes" made by newcomer too.
She sticked to shape the details until just before the exhibition.
Red & gold suit the white ground well.
もうすぐ中学２年生になるタケルくん。
素材のシブさと精巧な仕上げは、さすが「先輩」です。
小さくても存在感たっぷりです！
Takeru, he will soon be 2th grade of junior high school student.
His choice of cool materials and elaborate shaping, he's already a senior.
Each model is small but with presence!
Keikoさんが飾ってくれた、青・黄・ピンクのブーケ。
小花や葉、花瓶やリボン、包み紙などのパーツがそれぞれ、メインの花を引き立てています。
通る人が思わず「きれいねぇ」としみじみ呟いていました。
Bouquets in blue, yellow, and pink, designed by Keiko.
Small flowers, base, ribbon, and wrapping paper promote the main flower.
Passersby involuntary murmured "How beautiful".
はぁちゃん親娘の作品も大人気でした。
カミキィさんの作品や佐藤ローズ、あじさい折りのアソートです。
プレートひとつ取っても、その綺麗さに見とれてしまいます。
Ha-chan & mom's works are also popular.
These are assorts of Kamikey's models and Sato roses, and Hydrangeas.
Even the title plates are cute & eye-catching!
最後に私。
９０ｃｍクラフト紙の巨大クワガタは、先日の記事でお披露目した「メタリフェルホソアカクワガタ」です。

Finally, my works.
A huge stag beetle with 90cm craft paper is "Cyclommatus metallifer" that I showed on the previous post.
あとは神谷哲史氏のヘラクレスとカマキリ、ラング氏のカブトムシを脇役に。ホイル紙はやっぱり映えます。
（先端だけ見えてるのは３５ｃｍの緑メタリフェ）
華やかで明るい作品が多かったので、要員の少ないコンプレックス昆虫を集めてみました。
And "Hercules beetle" "Praying mantis" designed by Satoshi Kamiya, "Samurai Helmet Beetle" designed by Robert J. Lang.
I was sure that the foil paper are photogenic!
(The green one hiding is stag beetle from 35cm)
Most or exhibits were Gorgeous & colorful, so I chose solid complex insects.

最近は出張講座など外向きのイベントが多かったのですが、地元の方にも活動を知っていただく貴重な機会となりました。
こうした場をきっかけに、サークルへ来てくれたり、講座のお話をいただいたりすることもあります。ありがたい限りです。
Recently I often have been outside, but this event was a precious opportunity to be known our activity by the local citizens.
Taking this opportunity, some people come my class or request a origami seminars. It's so grateful!
さて、作品を屋根裏へ押し込むのはしばらく先になりそうです。
次の現場に向けて、準備を進めるとしましょう。
By the way, the time to store my baggages in the attic won't come for a while.
I have to prepare for the next class.
