今日は、図書館で開催されたイベントの様子をお届け。
夏休みの親子向け企画として、久しぶりに講座のお誘いをいただきました。
最後にやったのはコロナ前、実に３年半ぶりの開催です！
こうしてご縁が繋がること、大変嬉しく思います。

Today I'll show you an event report held at the public library, as a family-friendly summer event.
I was invited for the first time in 3.5years, I'm pleasure that the bond lasts!
今回の題材は、
❶月刊おりがみの「かきごおり」
❷Tatsumiさんの「デジタル数字」
こちらの２本立てです！
それでは、早速レポートしていきましょう。

「季節の作品」というリクエストにお応えして、夏の風物詩「かきごおり」をご用意。
月刊おりがみ504号（2017年8月号）の掲載作品です。
The organizer requested "Seasonal origami works", so I prepared "Shaved ice".
This is listed in Monthly ORIGAMI magazine No.504(Aug.2017).
お配りしたのは15cm×15cmでしたが、私の実演は見やすいように35cm×35cmを使いました。
この方法は好評でしたので、今後も採用です！
Though I distributed 15cm×15cm papers, I demonstrated using 35cm×35cm so that the participants can easily understand.
This method was well received, so I'll continue to use it!
この作品は「氷」「器」をそれぞれ１枚で作るので、色をチェンジして遊べるのが嬉しいポイント。
最初に１つ完成させたあとは、もう１セット作って、さらに家族で交換して…
たくさんのバリエーションを楽しんでもらいました。
In this model, "Ice" and "Bowl" are each made of one square paper. So it can be played by changing colors. Great!
When one is finished, make another, and exchange among families...
They enjoyed various patterns.
次は「氷」のアレンジです。
色のついたところをカットしたり、カラーペンで具材を追加したり。
それにしても、皆さんのアイディアの豊富さには脱帽です。
「この発想はなかった！」という驚きの連続でした。
Next, modifying "Ice".
Cutting the colored area, or adding ingredients by colorful pens...
Anyway, I was surprised by their AMAZING ideas that I didn't realize!
切り絵でキラキラを表現してくれた女の子。
とろ〜りシロップを見事に切り抜いてくれた男の子。彼は器の段折りを増やしまくって「無限ギザギザ」を作る強者でした。
氷に顔を描くだけでかわいいキャラクターになるのも、新しい発見でした。
さらに図書館のスタッフさんが「絵柄モノ」を用意してくれて、いっそう賑やかになりました。
A girl expressed twinkle stars by cutting out.
A boy splendidly cut & made syrup. And he did an outstanding work "An endless pleats" at the bowl.
In addition, the library's staffs prepared origami with various patterns, so they became more gorgeous!

みんな予想以上にサクサク進むので、大幅に時間が余ってしまいました。
そこで急遽登場したのが…
Tatsumiさんの「デジタル数字」です！
They proceeded too speedy, unexpectedly much time was left.
So I suddenly decided to suggest "Digital Numbers" designed by Tatsumi!
上下２つのパーツを組み合わせることで、０〜９すべての数字を自在に作れる優れもの。
・超簡単
・何色でもOK
・組み替えて遊べる
・そのまま飾れる
・用途は無限
・平面なのでかさばらない
挙げたらキリがない魅力の数々。
以前Tatsumiさんから直接教わり、一目惚れした作品です。
図書館スタッフの方が、私の過去記事をプリントしてくださいました。

This is the masterpiece that we can make all numbers freely by combining two identical parts.
・Very easy
・Suitable for all colors
・Recombinable
・Easy to display
・Unlimited usage
・Flat and easy to store
It has countless charm.
Tatsumi taught me how to make it, and I was fascinated.
This time the library's staff printed my past blog.
皆さんもすぐに折り方を覚えてくれて、色々なパターンを試してくれました。
「帰って作ってみよう」
「◯◯さんにも教えてあげよう」
と、反響も上々。
かきごおりを凌ぐほどの好評ぶりです。
次の講座でもやろうかな…
Everyone could understand and remember the all steps, and tried various patterns.
"I'll make again at home"
"I'll show & tell my friends"
Reaction was pretty good.
It might be more popular than Shaved Ice.
I want to introduce this model also next time.

この日は8組・21名の方にお越しいただきました。
マスクで皆さんの表情が見えないのは残念ですが、笑顔は伝わるものですね。
夏のひとときを楽しむ皆さんの姿に、私も元気をもらいました。
やっぱり、対面講座はいいですね！
This time 8 families, 21 participants have joined.
Unfortunately everyone weared mask and I couldn't see their face, but I I could see their smile.
I was empowered by the participants enjoyed summer activities.
After all, I like face-to-face class!
