なんだか、梅雨のような季節感…
ということで、今日は季節外れの「あじさい折り」をご紹介します。
モデルは「花折りピラミッド」。
びっしり規則的に付けられた折り筋と、独特のたたみ方が織りなす模様は、直線的なのにどこか柔らかさを感じます。

So, although it's out of season, I'll introduce "Hydrangea Pyramid".

Thoroughly regular creases and the pattern by a unique folding method, the shape is wonderly soft & mild in spite of its linear structure.
フワリと宙に浮いたように見えるのは、裏側の構造が「テーブルの脚」のような役割を果たしているから。
あじさい折り全般に見られるこの現象、大好きなんですよね。
経験者の方、そう思いませんか？
It seems to be floating because the back side structure acts as like table legs.
I really like this effect that is generally seen in "Hydrangea folding".
Anyone who have experienced, do you think so?

Flowers color the edge of white surface naturally, I like its cleanliness!
And I also like its soft texture unique to Japanese paper "Chiyogami".
I had a precious opportunity to meet such a NICE material, and I thought intuitively that I wanted to play it right away. Thank you!
